Freshly ground coffee beans are the foundation of every delicious espresso, cappuccino or latte macchiato. With Maxima's stylish coffee grinders, you can ensure that every cup of coffee you make is of high quality.

A commercial coffee grinder is a heavy-duty machine designed specifically for grinding large quantities of coffee beans. Unlike home grinders used for personal use, commercial grinders are built to meet the demands of high-volume coffee production.

Features of our coffee grinders include:

  • Adjustable dosage of ground beans
  • Adjustable grinding degree
  • Transparent plastic bean container

Where are commercial coffee grinders mostly used?

Coffee grinders, also known as espresso grinders, are mainly used in cafés , restaurants, hotels and other places that serve fresh coffee. These businesses often have coffee grinders with a large capacity to keep up with their customers’ demands.

Various other establishments such as offices and convenience stores also utilise coffee grinders. Employees in offices use coffee grinders and espresso machines in break rooms or kitchenettes to make their cups of coffee.

Models found in offices are usually smaller and more compact as the demand for coffee is less compared to a busy coffee house. This saves time and money for companies and allows their employees to enjoy a cup of coffee during busy work hours.

In convenience stores, coffee grinders provide customers with freshly ground coffee beans for their at-home brewing needs.

What should you look for when purchasing a coffee grinder?

With so many options available in the market, it can be overwhelming to choose the best coffee grinder.

Here are some factors to consider when purchasing a coffee grinder machine:

Capacity

It's important to determine how much coffee you'll need to grind daily. This will help you in selecting the appropriate model. It will also prevent you from overspending on a grinder that's too large for your requirements.

If you're running a small bakery or cafe, a standard commercial grinder is sufficient. However, if your restaurant experiences a high demand for coffee, you may need a grinder with a larger capacity to accommodate the amount needed.

Durability and maintenance

A good coffee grinder should be durable enough to withstand heavy use and last you a long time. Look for models made from sturdy materials such as hardened steel that are easy to maintain and clean.

Budget

Consider your volume requirements, maintenance costs and desired features when setting a budget for your coffee grinder. Buying a high-quality coffee grinder can save you money by avoiding frequent replacements or repairs in the future.

What are the benefits of using a coffee grinder?

Using a commercial coffee bean grinder can make all the difference in providing your customers with the best possible experience.

Here are some of the benefits of using a coffee grinder:

Freshness and consistency

One of the main benefits of using a commercial coffee grinder is the freshness and consistency it provides. Pre-ground coffee often loses its flavour and aroma over time.

That’s why grinding beans right before brewing ensures that customers are getting the freshest cup of coffee possible. Professional grinders are also designed to produce consistent grounds, resulting in more balanced and delicious coffee every time.

Speed and efficiency

Commercial coffee grinders can grind large quantities of beans quickly and efficiently, allowing businesses to serve more customers without sacrificing quality. This can have a positive impact on a business's productivity and profitability. Additionally, businesses that invest in automatic coffee grinders can grind beans even faster.

Cost-effectiveness

Investing in a professional coffee grinder can save money for your business in the long run. Grinding beans on-site can help restaurants avoid the added cost of purchasing pre-ground coffee and eliminate potential waste.

By providing customers with high-quality coffee, they are also more likely to return and continue to support your business.

What different coffee grinders does Maxima offer?

Maxima offers a range of coffee grinders with different capacities for bean containers. Depending on the model, you can put between 0.5kg and 2kg of coffee beans in the container. The size of the container also affects the grinding speed.

Models with the smallest bean containers grind 500g of coffee beans in six minutes. The larger models with 1kg and 2kg tanks can grind 500g of coffee beans in five minutes.

All coffee grinders, except for the smallest model, have a dispenser tank to fill the piston holder with freshly ground coffee. With a digital coffee bean grinder, you can easily adjust the grind level and dosage using a convenient touch screen.

Professional equipment needs to have a silent operation to avoid disturbing your customers. For this reason, we also offer extra quiet bean grinders with a round recess in the middle for easy identification.

How to clean a commercial coffee grinder

Maxima’s kitchen equipment is designed with ease of use in mind. This includes ensuring that cleaning and maintenance are simple and easy. You can easily remove the bean container, collection tray and lid for cleaning.

Rinse or wipe them with a damp cloth, making sure they are thoroughly dry before reassembly. You can also wipe the casing with a soft, damp cloth.

It’s recommended to regularly brush the interior around the blades with a soft brush. Over time, pieces of ground coffee may accumulate around the blades. By brushing this away, the blades will have enough space to move smoothly and quickly.
